You can escape to the peace and tranquillity of this charming country cottage which is located on an elevated site with magnificent views overlooking Teelin Bay and the majestic Slibh League which are Europe's highest sea cliff at 595 metres. The Cottage is ideal for families or groups who like the great outdoor activities on offer in and around Kilcar. Once a confirmed booking is made a 20% deposit is required and the cottage will be taken off availability list. Kilcar area Kilcar is located in beautiful part of South West Donegal, between the fishing port of Killybegs and the majestic Slieve League sea cliffs, Europe's tallest at 595 meters. The area offers panoramic sea-views, unspoiled beaches, superb hill and mountain walks to suit all levels whether you desire a long strenuous walk or a short leisurely stroll. The nearby (10 minutes) Blue flag local beach is ideal to keep children amused. The scenery here is truly breathtaking, making this a haven for amateur or professional artists and photographers. There are several very good restaurants locally, including specialised sea food restaurants. The local pubs are good craic and frequently host traditional music sessions. Activities available locally include: painting, water sports, fishing, angling, boat trips, horse riding, a gym and unspoilt beaches. How to get Here Derry Airport is 109km. Sligo Airport and Railway Station is one hour's drive away. Greenhills Cottage is a 3 and a 1/2 hours drive from Dublin or Belfast. From Kilcar Village carry on the coast road for Carrick. After 1km you will see Tellin Bay and the sea cliffs, keep driving for another 1km and turn right and (Deerylaghan Hostel is on the left) and carry on driving up that road for aprox. 2min and you will see Greenhills cottage with the red door.
